MEN'S HAIRCUTTING COURSE - LEVEL 2

COURSE OVERVIEW

This course is a Level 2 out of 3 levels of courses, for students who have prior Basic Mens Haircutting training in hairdressing and would like to gain more insight and upgrade their basic skills.

The focus of this course is on the skills of basics in performing a man haircut on both Mannequin Heads and real client practice.

COURSE CONTENT: PRACTICAL

Mannequin + Live Model Sessions I Duration: 30 hours

Time:

10 sessions (5 weekdays)
10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm

LEARNING OUTCOME

While on the course, you will take part in practical session working on mannequin + real clients.

Upon completion of the course, you will be able to:

Provide Men’s Haircutting with Shampoo and Basic Blow Dry. You will be able to perform home haircuts or charity haircuts for Mens hairstyles using scissors or clippers with attachment for hairstyles with slopes and a gentlemen haircut.

– Clipper + Attachments

– Blending of Slope

COURSE FEES

$460 (Incl 9% GST), payable at least 1 week before Course start date
COURSE INTAKE

Check with school for commencement dates.
COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Course participants should be at least 16 years old of age at date of class commencement and able to understand English or Mandarin.

Completed the Men’s Haircutting Course
GRADUATION REQUIREMENT

Students are required to attend at least 80% of the classes.
PROGRESSION

At the end of the course, you will be able to progress onto Certificate in Foundation Hairdressing or the Level 3 Mens Cutting Course.
COURSE AWARDS

Upon meeting all School Graduation requirements, you will be awarded the e-Certificate (send to your registered email address) for Level 2 Men's Haircutting Course by Kimage Hairdressing School.
OTHERS (OPTIONAL)

Tools: *Optional for purchase
*Student may bring their own cutting tools or purchase from school, for example, scissors, thinning scissors, cutting comb, clips, water spray and school apron.

Locker Rental $13/month (Incl 9% GST) or Trolley Rental $21/month (Incl 9% GST).
Rental fee applies to students who want to rent a locker or trolley in the school and use it as personal storage. Rental fee is payable quarterly.
