BASIC CUTTING MODULE

COURSE CONTENT: PRACTICAL

Duration: 90 hours

LEARNING OUTCOME

Upon completion of the course, you will be able to perform:

One level haircut with various lengths
Graduated haircut with various weight distribution
Layered haircut with various outlines

This module introduces students to hair cutting using a variety of one level techniques, graduation and layered techniques.

In practical, student will prepare the client to meet the gowning requirements.

During the customer consultation process, students will learn to identify clients’ need and also learn to select the most suitable cutting techniques to achieve the desired effect and to ensure work methods meet health and safety requirements.

During cutting process, student will adjust their cutting techniques to take into account of critical influencing factors and consult with the client again to confirm the desired look.

COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Certificate in shampoo & blow or 6 months experience as salon assistant (to produce resume as proof)
GRADUATION REQUIREMENT

Students are required complete all tasks in order to graduate and obtain their relevant certificates.
COURSE AWARDS

Upon meeting all Graduation Requirements, you will be awarded the e-Certificate (send to your registered email address) for Basic Cutting Module by Kimage Hairdressing School.

Tool kit fee refers to the complete set of tools that are needed to perform all the practical tasks in the course.
Payable at point of purchase, which is the first day of class.
Shampoo Comb, Round Brush M, Cutting Comb, Paddle Brush, Scissors Set, School Cutting Cape, Cutting Clips, Shoulder Pad, Water Spray, Hair Dryer, Dolly Head, and School Apron.
